I don’t care if you’re in the business, government, public, private, civic, religious, whatever sector. If you aren’t familiar with the work of W. Edwards Deming, you need to get familiar.

Every time I see or am subjected to something idiotic, AND remember the above bit of brilliance, it calms the waters of my mind. And more importantly, it reminds me that it really is the process, not the people that makes things maddening. “Blame the process, not the people.”
