Quick Thought 46 – Ignorance and Doubt???

This is Intentionally Vicarious… I’m Todd Youngblood… And I was just sitting here at my desk pondering aimlessly… And I started thinking about all the Intentionally Vicarious episodes I’ve published in the two years since I got started. I don’t think there’s been a single one where I had any doubt about the validity of the opinion I expressed. Made me think about a comment made by Richard Feynman, one of the greatest physicists of all time. He said:

“We have found it of paramount importance that in order to progress, we must recognize our ignorance and leave room for doubt.”

So I guess from now on, I need to be a bit more humble, recognize my ignorance and have at least some doubt about the rationality of my opinions. Ugh… Oh well, Mom never said it would be easy
